Peter Montana

Peter Montana is the co-founder of Patchogue Heating and Air Conditioning. He has spent more than forty years in the mechanical trades, and most of that time has been spent doing exactly what this company does, which is keeping heat and air conditioning running in people's houses.

He co-founded Precision HVAC with his brother Anthony Montana, ran it for over a decade, and sold it. After that he co-founded Reliance Mechanical Services, a residential company out of Islandia that he ran for ten years. That one was sold too, and it is still out there working today. Between the two, he has spent most of his career answering the same calls Suffolk County homeowners make: no heat in February, no cooling in July, a system that should have been replaced two years ago.

His earlier companies also handled large commercial mechanical work in New York City, including the Bloomberg command center, Arverne by the Sea, and The Tides, which is a fair measure of what he can run when the job gets complicated.

At PHA, Peter runs operations. The insurance, the trucks, the technicians, and the schedule are all his. He is EPA certified, and he is the reason the crew that pulls into your driveway is trained, equipped, and on time. Andrew handles the equipment side, the estimates, and the rebates. Peter makes sure the work actually gets done.
