Why It Matters
Why Regular Maintenance Matters
Prevent Breakdowns
Most unplanned repairs are caused by issues that a tune-up would have caught. Maintenance pays for itself.
Lower Energy Bills
A well-maintained system runs 15-25% more efficiently. That saves hundreds per year on electricity and fuel.
Extend Equipment Life
A maintained HVAC system lasts 5-10 years longer than a neglected one. Protect your investment.
Maintain Warranty
Most manufacturers require annual maintenance to keep your warranty valid. We document everything.
What's Included
What's in a Tune-Up?
Every tune-up is a comprehensive inspection, cleaning, and performance check, not a quick filter swap.
Why Members Join
Protection That Pays for Itself
A plan is more than a tune-up. Members skip the trip and diagnostic fee on every service call, get a discount on repair labor, and move to the front of the line when the weather turns.

Pays for Itself
Members pay no trip or diagnostic fee on a service call, a $129 value, plus 10 to 20% off repair labor depending on tier. One breakdown and the plan has earned its keep.
Whole-Home Coverage
The Comfort plan services both your heating and your cooling every year, spring and fall, so nothing gets skipped.
Builds Toward Your Next System
Premier members earn a $100 loyalty credit every year, up to $500, that goes straight toward a future system replacement.
Not ready for a plan?
Free air filter change reminders
We'll text or email you when it's time to swap your filter, no charge, no plan required. Premier members get the filter replaced for them. Everyone else just gets the reminder.
Common Questions
Maintenance Plan FAQ
For most Long Island homeowners, yes. Plans run $19 to $59 a month depending on tier. A tune-up alone is $149 retail and members get it included, plus plan members pay no trip or diagnostic fee on service calls (a $129 value) and get a discount on repair labor. For most homes the plan pays for itself the first time something needs fixing, and a well-maintained system loses less efficiency so you pay less on every PSEG bill.
At minimum, once per year. The industry standard is a heating tune-up in fall and a cooling tune-up in spring. Annual maintenance catches small problems before they become expensive breakdowns, keeps your system running at peak efficiency, and extends equipment lifespan by several years. Most manufacturer warranties require annual professional maintenance to remain valid.
Our tune-ups include a full system inspection, cleaning of coils and components, refrigerant level check (cooling systems), burner and ignition inspection (heating systems), thermostat calibration, electrical connection tightening, air filter check, and a safety check. We document everything in an Equipment Health Report and flag any issues before they become failures.
Yes, in two ways. A system that is cleaned and calibrated every year holds its rated efficiency instead of drifting, so you burn less energy for the same comfort. And a tune-up catches small problems, a weak capacitor or a dirty coil, before they turn into a no-heat call. How much you save depends on your equipment, your home, and how hard you run it, so we would rather show you your own numbers than quote an average. Try our maintenance plan calculator or give us a call.
Pricing is for your first system, and each additional system is added at a lower rate, because almost every plan benefit covers your whole home. On the Comfort plan, for example, a second system is just $17 more a month. Tell us what you have and we will give you the exact number.
Premier plan members receive a free Ecobee smart thermostat, one per home, installed during your first tune-up visit. The thermostat is your property outright, and it stays yours whether or not you keep the plan. One thing to know: if you cancel within the first 12 months, there may be a prorated hardware fee equal to the unamortized cost of the thermostat, up to $200 per unit. After 12 months of continuous service there is no fee. Homes with more than one zone can add an Ecobee for about $99 installed.
Plan members get priority scheduling and pay no trip or diagnostic fee on the call. Essential members get 10% off repair labor, Comfort members get 15% off, and Premier members get 20% off plus a 12-month labor warranty on the work. The discount applies to labor only. Parts are billed at our normal rate.
Yes. Our maintenance plans are month-to-month with no long-term contract, and Essential and Comfort carry no cancellation fee at all. If you cancel mid-year you keep any benefits already used, like a completed tune-up. The one exception is Premier: because it includes a thermostat we install at our cost, canceling within the first 12 months may carry a prorated hardware fee of up to $200 per thermostat. After 12 months there is no fee. The $100 yearly loyalty credit has no cash value and is forfeited if the plan lapses.
