Premier includes a free Ecobee smart thermostat, one per home, installed during your first tune-up visit. It gives you full control of your home temperature from your phone and learns your schedule. The thermostat is your property outright and stays yours whether or not you keep the plan. The one thing to know: if you cancel within the first 12 months, there may be a prorated hardware fee equal to the unamortized cost of the thermostat, up to $200 per unit. After 12 months of continuous service there is no fee. Homes with more than one zone can add an Ecobee for each at a member rate of about $99 installed.

Premier members can get service on weekends and go to the front of the line ahead of other customers. We do not offer 24/7 emergency service at this time, but Premier gives you the fastest, most flexible access we have.

For each full year you stay on the Premier plan, you build a $100 credit toward a future system replacement performed by PHA, up to a $500 maximum. It is a way to reward members who stay with us when it is time for a new system. The credit has no cash value and is forfeited if the plan lapses.

Any repair we perform during your plan term is covered by a 12-month labor warranty. If the same repair needs to be revisited within a year, you do not pay labor again. This is on top of the 20% repair labor discount Premier members already get.

Yes. Premier includes everything in Comfort: 2 tune-ups a year, whole-home coverage, priority scheduling, a waived trip and diagnostic fee, and a repair labor discount. Premier raises the labor discount to 20% and adds the free Ecobee, filters at every visit, weekend service with no after-hours surcharge, the 12-month labor warranty, and the loyalty credit.

It depends on your priorities. If your system is newer and running well, Comfort gives you whole-home coverage at a lower cost. Premier shines for systems 8 or more years old, larger or multi-zone homes, and homeowners who want the free thermostat, the longest warranty, and the credit building toward their next system.

No. Premier is month-to-month like all our plans, and you can cancel anytime. The Ecobee is yours outright either way.
