Tell us about your home

Rebate amounts shown are estimates based on current program guidelines as of July 2026. Most of these rebates require the heat pump to fully replace your existing heating system as the home's primary heat source. Cooling-only add-ons, supplemental units that leave a fossil-fuel furnace or boiler as primary heat, and new construction may qualify for reduced rebates or none at all. Actual amounts depend on equipment selection, home eligibility, contractor participation, and program availability. Programs may change without notice. Income thresholds are approximate and updated annually. This calculator does not constitute a guarantee of rebate approval. Contact us for a free in-home assessment with exact rebate eligibility.

Example Calculation

A Patchogue homeowner replacing an oil furnace with a 3-ton cold-climate heat pump gets a $4,000 PSEG Long Island rebate at market rate, bringing a $19,000 installation down to about $15,000, before the ongoing Rate Code 580 delivery discount. An income-qualified household at the $7,500 tier would land closer to $11,500.

Rebate Calculator FAQ

The calculator provides estimates based on current program guidelines from PSEG Long Island and NYSERDA as of 2026. Actual rebate amounts depend on equipment selection, your home's eligibility, and program availability at the time of installation. A free in-home estimate will give you exact numbers.

The PSEG Long Island rebate is tiered by income: $4,000 at market rate, $5,000 for moderate-income households, and $7,500 for income-qualified households under 60% of state median income. Income-qualified households may also add NYSERDA EmPower+ weatherization. This question is optional, and we do not store your answer.

Yes. PSEG and NYSERDA update their programs periodically, and funding can run out. The amounts shown reflect current guidelines, but we recommend scheduling an estimate sooner rather than later to lock in available incentives. We keep this calculator updated as programs change.

This calculator is designed for planning purposes on new installations. If you recently installed a heat pump and want to know which rebates you may still be eligible for, text us at (631) 209-7090 and we can help you check.
